It is alleged that an amount of US$12million was given to the EC Boss, Madam Charlotte Osei by the National Democratic Congress(N. D. C) government, just to show"Appreciation". This amount was given to her before the election and as to it being a bribe or motivation, one can not tell.
An audio also confirmed that the former president from the National Patriotic Party (N. P. P) government,His Excellency John Agyekum Kuffour, also showed this same kind of "Appreciation" to the EC in 2004.This attitude will become a norm if not put to a halt. EC Bosses can be "Appreciated", but not before elections and with huge sums of money.
Come to think of it, is it necessary at all, giving an EC Boss this huge sum of money?.When our environments are filthy, roads are bad, high rate of unemployment and other issues in the country one can think of. #WAKE UP GHANA.
